Wayne Marshall has been fishing the offshore waters up and
down the Cost of Central Florida for over 45 years. He resides
in Malabar, Florida. Wayne has been involved in the Sebastian
Inlet Sportfishing Association for many years and served
as the President in 1986 and 1987. In the late seventies
Wayne put a team together to start fishing the Sailfish
tournaments. They were fairly successful but as the rules
change he realized that there were no fish turned in, in
the Wahoo categories. As a result he decided to try to target
them. By the mid 80 Wayne was considered a Wahoo expert,
and won many tournaments. He told me that he won a 19 foot
Pathfinder in Sebastian one weekend only to turn around
the next week and win a 21 foot Contender out of Port Canaveral.
His favorite memory was winning the Blue Water Brawl two
years in a row. When it was time to prepare for the third
year his father's health was declining. He said the last
time his father responded to anything he said was when he
told him that he was going to win it a third time for him.
He said his father smiled. Knowing he might not see his
father again the team went out and won it for the third
time. Wayne has caught more than 50 Wahoo in the 45 pound
class over the years. Do not miss this one.

Steve Grant- C&H Lures
There aren’t many types of fishing Steven Grant hasn’t
encountered. From Salmon to blue water fishing Steve has
had the opportunity to enjoy it all.
While always an avid fisherman, Steve began fishing for
a living in 1994 while working on a private charter out
of St. Mary’s, Ga. After 4 years on that grind, he
met and became employed with C&H Lures. Working in the
warehouse, pulling and shipping orders, Steve spent all
his free time creating his “lures”. Pretty soon
all of the customers were coming in and heading straight
for our warehouse to look at Steve’s new creation,
and to find out where the fish were biting. It became evident
to C&H that to get any “work” done we would
have to move Steve into the showroom and make him a salesman
so that our warehouse could become our warehouse once again,
and people might spend more time in our store, than our
production area.
In 2003 Steve began king fishing with Don Combs on the C&H
team. Like a sponge, Steve soaked up knowledge from his
boss and Captain, Don Combs who has been fishing the waters
out of Jacksonville for over 40 years. In 2005 Steve became
the sales manager of C&H Lures. This gave him the opportunity
to teach future fisherman and seasoned fisherman all the
secrets and tricks that he has learned over the years. His
passion for fishing has inspired many a new fisherman and
has gained him quite a following in the fishing community.
Steve also blue water fishes with Don Combs on his private
boat the “Sharkbait”. They have won numerous
blue water tournaments most recently the Conch House Wahoo
tournament out of St. Augustine, landing an 82 pound wahoo.
